Job summary

Downer is a leading provider of integrated services in Australia and New Zealand, delivering projects across assets, infrastructure and facilities. We are seeking an experienced Administrator to join our team as a Project Officer to support the Specialised Pavements business with transactional and contract management processes.

You will manage claims and invoices, assist with internal reporting and cost analysis, coordinate travel and documents, and ensure compliance with systems and processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in an administration role.
• Experience in a large, complex organisation with enterprise systems.
• Proficient in core admin competencies, including spreadsheeting and document writing/formatting (intermediate MS Office 365).
• High level of accuracy in data entry and document preparation.

Responsibilities

• Processing claims, invoices, and month-end deliverables.
• Supporting internal reporting and cost analysis.
• Providing general administrative support including travel coordination, document management, and meeting logistics.
• Ensuring compliance with internal processes and systems.
• Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders including suppliers and clients.
