The NSW Rural Fire Service invites applications for a Project Officer, a full-time role (35 hours per week) located in the Marsden Park Industrial area. The position offers a modern facility, hybrid/flexible working arrangements and an attractive salary with superannuation.

The successful candidate will help plan, coordinate and deliver projects that support our communities and volunteers, requiring strong organisation, stakeholder communication and data-driven decision making.

This opportunity offers:

• Attractive annual salary $118,562 - $131,233 p.a. plus 12% superannuation
• Located within the Marsden Park Industrial area, this 12 month old modern facility is close to factory outlets, Costco, Ikea, and a choice of cafe's and restaurants

What you’ll be doing:

Are you a highly organised and motivated professional who enjoys bringing people, information and ideas together to deliver meaningful outcomes? As a Project Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the planning, coordination and delivery of projects that contribute to organisational success and community impact. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working both independently and as part of a team, and provides the opportunity to make a tangible contribution while supporting initiatives that serve and strengthen the community.

• Well-organised and reliable professional who enjoys coordinating projects and working with a variety of stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks at once, keep projects on track and ensure work is completed on time and to a high standard.
• Possesses the ability to research issues, has strong communication skills and is confident preparing reports, maintaining project documentation and providing updates to stakeholders.
• Use data and evidence to support decision-making and contribute to planning and continuous improvement.
• An understanding of, and appreciation for, volunteer-based community service organisations is highly desirable.
• Committed to supporting organisational goals, delivering quality outcomes and contributing positively to their team and stakeholders.
