Job summary

Hemisphere Search & Selection in Sydney is seeking a Project Manager, Workforce Mobilisation to translate workforce strategy into a coordinated plan that delivers business outcomes.

You will bring together People and Culture specialists, lead governance and planning forums, and align recruitment and workforce initiatives to support strategic goals.

This role requires strong stakeholder management, exceptional communication, and experience in workforce planning or organisational change.

Qualifications

• PM qualification and/or demonstrated success delivering complex workforce, people, transformation or strategic initiatives will be essential.
• Strong understanding of the employee lifecycle and contemporary People & Culture practices, with the ability to translate strategy into practical delivery plans.
• Sound business acumen, judgement and problem-solving skills, with a focus on achieving organisational outcomes.
• Proven ability to build trusted relationships, influence stakeholders and coordinate delivery across teams with shared responsibilities and competing priorities.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to translate complex data and insights into actionable plans, executive reports, presentations and recommendations.
• Proficiency in project planning and reporting tools, including Microsoft Project, Power BI and Microsoft 365.
• Experience in workforce planning, organisational development, change management or broader People & Culture functions is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Turn strategy into action: Build and maintain an integrated workforce mobilisation roadmap, translating specialist strategies and initiatives into prioritised plans aligned with business goals.
• Bring people and priorities together: Partner with business leaders and People & Culture teams to coordinate delivery, manage dependencies and build shared accountability.
• Enable confident decisions: Lead governance and planning forums, providing executives with clear visibility of progress, risks, milestones and outcomes.
• Keep delivery on track: Proactively resolve barriers and competing priorities, applying project and change management practices to deliver workforce outcomes.
• Connect the employee experience: Align initiatives across attraction, recruitment, onboarding, development, leadership, engagement, retention and workforce transitions.
• Support workforce transformation: Help deliver strategic workforce planning, capability development and organisational change initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement: Use workforce data and insights to strengthen planning, mobilisation and business performance.
• Champion safe, accountable delivery: Model positive safety behaviours and manage projects in line with enterprise governance, financial, environmental, WHS, risk and compliance requirements.
