Job summary

McCosker Contracting in the Gladstone Region is seeking a Project Manager with experience in reinforced concrete structures to join our team. You will lead the project team, plan and deliver contracted works in line with client requirements, and ensure safe, on-time, on-budget outcomes across sites.

The role requires travel to various project sites, interpreting drawings and specifications, coordinating labour and procurement, negotiating with clients, and driving tender activities.

Qualifications

• Industry recognised qualification in project management or equivalent.
• Experience in civil engineering and project management.
• Knowledge of the civil construction industry and current projects.
• Experience in a civil based business and reinforced concrete structures.
• Able to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Experience coordinating labour, resources and procurement.
• Strong negotiation and client communication skills.
• Experience contributing to tenders and delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Ability to lead and implement the scheduled program of work.
• Adherence to legislation and safety standards.
• Current Queensland Open Drivers Licence.
• General Construction Induction (white card/blue).

Responsibilities

Job description

McCosker Contracting are seeking a Project Manager with experience in reinforced concrete structures, preferably in industrial plants to join our team in the Gladstone Region.

In this position you will provide effective management of the project team, and successful planning, management and delivery of the contracted works in accordance with client requirements. This role is accountable for successful project outcomes through effective leadership of the project team, managing the program schedule, risk, safety, operations, and resources associated with project deliverables.

This position will work individually and in a team environment to deliver exceptional outcomes, while maintaining a safe and productive culture and having a positive impact on the community in which we operate.

This position is required to travel and work on various project sites, where we operate, to support the successful delivery of project and company goals.
