Job summary

McCosker Contracting seeks a Project Manager with Bulk Earthworks experience to join our team on a project in Queensland. You will manage the project team, plan, and deliver contracted works in line with client requirements, overseeing schedule, risk, safety, operations, and resources to achieve outcomes.

You will travel to project sites, lead a safety-driven and productive culture, and collaborate with clients and project personnel to deliver on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Industry recognised qualification in project management or equivalent.
• Experience in civil engineering and project management.
• Knowledge of the civil construction industry and current projects.
• Experience in a civil based business.
• Able to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Experience in coordinating labour, resources and procurement.
• Highly effective in negotiating and communicating with clients and project personnel.
• Experience contributing to tenders and delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and implement the scheduled program of work.
• Current Queensland Open Drivers Licence
• General Construction Induction (white card/blue)

McCosker Contracting are seeking a Project Manager with experience in Bulk Earthworks to join our team on a project in Queensland.

In this position you will provide effective management of the project team, and successful planning, management and delivery of the contracted works in accordance with client requirements. This role is accountable for successful project outcomes through effective leadership of the project team, managing the program schedule, risk, safety, operations, and resources associated with project deliverables.

This position will work individually and in a team environment to deliver exceptional outcomes, while maintaining a safe and productive culture and having a positive impact on the community in which we operate.

This position is required to travel and work on various project sites, where we operate, to support the successful delivery of project and company goals.

To be successful for this role:

• Industry recognised qualification in project management or equivalent


• Experience in civil engineering and project management


• Knowledge of the civil construction industry and current projects


• Experience in a civil based business
