Job summary

McCosker Contracting is seeking a Project Manager with reinforced concrete structures experience to join our Gladstone Region team. You will lead the project team, plan and deliver contracted works in line with client requirements, and travel to various project sites as needed.

You will manage the program schedule, risk, safety, operations and resources to achieve successful outcomes, while maintaining a productive culture and delivering projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Industry recognised qualification in project management or equivalent.
• Experience in civil engineering and project management.
• Knowledge of the civil construction industry and current projects.
• Experience in a civil based business.
• Experience in reinforced concrete structures.
• Able to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Experience in coordinating labour, resources and procurement.
• Highly effective in negotiating and communicating with clients and project personnel.
• Experience contributing to tenders and delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and implement the scheduled program of work.
• Highly effective in adhering to legislation and standards for performance, quality, cost and safety.
• Current Queensland Open Drivers Licence
• General Construction Induction (white card/blue)

Responsibilities

• Provide effective management of the project team and delivery of contracted works.

• Lead with a focus on quality and safety to achieve project outcomes.
• Travel to and work on multiple project sites as required.
