Job summary
INTEC Energy Solutions in Brisbane is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with 8+ years of experience to lead design and delivery of utility-scale renewable energy projects across Australia and New Zealand.
You will own electrical design across HV/MV/LV systems, perform load flow and protection studies, and provide field support through procurement, construction and commissioning while coordinating with clients, suppliers and site teams.
Qualifications
- 8+ years' electrical engineering experience in power/renewables/infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of HV, MV and LV systems; solar PV, BESS, substations experience valued.
- Experience with design, protection, control, metering, SCADA and grid connections.
- Experience using modelling tools like PowerFactory, PSCAD or ETAP.
Responsibilities
- Lead and review electrical design deliverables across solar PV, BESS and substations.
- Perform load flow, short-circuit, protection coordination and harmonic studies.
- Provide technical support through procurement, construction and commissioning.
- Act as interface between Engineering, Project Delivery and Construction.
- Support constructability, value engineering and quality control.
