Job summary

Now Careers QLD is seeking a hands-on Project Manager – Precast Concrete based in Yatala, SEQ. You will oversee 6–8 live projects from award to completion, coordinating drawings, production, transport and site erection.

Navigate builder/client relationships, variations, costs and project risks while ensuring quality, safety and on-time delivery across SEQ’s office, factory and site environments.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years' project management or project engineering experience, ideally in precast or structural construction.
• Strong understanding of structural and architectural drawings.
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Commercial awareness with contracts, variations, procurement and costs.
• Practical, confident communicator across office, factory and sites.

PROJECT MANAGER - PRECAST CONCRETE

$110,000 - $140,000 + super | Company Vehicle | Yatala

Join a growing precast concrete business delivering structural and architectural precast projects across Southeast Queensland.

This is a hands-on Project Manager role with responsibility from contract award through to completion, coordinating builders, engineering/drafting, factory production, transport and erection crews.

THE ROLE

• Manage a portfolio of 6-8 live projects from award to completion.
• Develop and manage programs covering drawings, approvals, production, transport and erection.
• Manage builder/client relationships, variations, claims, costs and project risks.
• Coordinate drafting, engineering, factory production, cranage, transport and site erection.
• Ensure quality, safety, documentation and delivery requirements are met.

ABOUT YOU

• 5-8 years' project management/project engineering experience, ideally within precast or structural construction.
• Strong understanding of structural and architectural drawings.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
• Commercially aware with experience in contracts, variations, procurement and project costs.
• Practical, confident communicator who can work across the office, factory and construction sites.

ESSENTIAL

• Relevant engineering, construction management or similar qualification preferred.
• Queensland White Card and unrestricted driver's licence.
• Strong Microsoft Office and project scheduling skills.
• Understanding of Queensland WHS requirements.
• Precast concrete experience highly regarded.
