Job summary

TwentyThree Projects in Victoria, Australia is expanding its national operation and seeking an experienced Event Project Manager to lead end-to-end event fit-outs across the country. You will coordinate clients, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams to deliver projects safely, efficiently, and to the high standard the company is known for.

You will develop programs, budgets and procurement plans, maintain client communications, and help build our local supplier and subcontractor networks

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing major event fit-out projects.
• Established relationships within the event industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, trades and materials.
• Ability to manage projects from commencement through to completion.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Strong commercial awareness including budgets, procurement and cost control.
• Sound understanding of WHS requirements and construction regulations.
• Confident communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Able to travel to project sites across the country.

Responsibilities

• Managing event fit-out projects from Design through to bump out
• Managing commercial, retail fit-out projects from handover through to practical completion

• Supporting the establishment of systems, processes and operations for our growing event department
• Helping identify future staffing requirements and contributing to the development of a local team
• Representing TwentyThree Projects professionally and helping grow our reputation across the event world
• Communicating regularly with senior management regarding project performance, opportunities and challenges

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is more than a traditional Event Project Manager position it’s an opportunity to help build our national operation and spread your wings into retail and commercial fit outs

You will take ownership of Event fit-out projects across Australia, managing each project from initial Design through to completion. You’ll coordinate clients, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams to ensure every project is delivered safely, efficiently and to the high standard TwentyThree Projects is known for.

Working closely with our national team, you’ll also help develop our local supplier and subcontractor networks, strengthen client relationships, and support the growth of our national business presence.

The right person will be comfortable working independently, making decisions and creating structure, while remaining closely connected to a supportive national team.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Managing event fit-out projects from Design through to bump out

Managing commercial, retail fit-out projects from handover through to practical completion

Developing project programs, budgets and procurement schedules

Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and internal teams

Maintaining regular communication with clients and providing clear project updates

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Proven experience managing major event fit-out projects

Established relationships withing the event industry

Strong knowledge of construction processes, trades, materials and project delivery

Demonstrated ability to manage projects from commencement through to completion

Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Strong commercial awareness, including experience with budgets, procurement, variations and cost control

A sound understanding of WHS requirements and construction regulations

Confident communication and stakeholder-management skills

The ability to build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and suppliers

A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the confidence to work autonomously

Strong computer skills and experience with relevant project-management software

A relevant qualification or experience in construction management, project management, building or a related field is desirable

A valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle

The flexibility to travel to project sites across the country as required
