Job summary

Fortis Security in Melbourne seeks an experienced Project Manager – Electronic Security to lead complex security integration projects across Melbourne and Victoria.

The role can operate from Mount Waverley or Tullamarine, coordinating with clients, technicians, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure on-time, on-budget, high-quality delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Project Manager or Senior Security Technician within the electronic security industry.
• Strong understanding of CCTV, access control, intercom, intrusion detection and integrated security systems.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating technicians, subcontractors, suppliers and clients.
• Strong commercial awareness, including budgeting, procurement, forecasting and variation management.
• The ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with Simpro experience highly regarded.
• Excellent organisation, leadership, communication and time-management skills.
• A current and valid Australian Driver’s Licence.
• Full and permanent Australian working rights.
• The ability to work from either our Mount Waverley or Tullamarine office and attend project sites as required.

Fortis Security is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Electronic Security to lead the delivery of complex security integration projects across Melbourne and Victoria.

The position can operate from either our Mount Waverley or Tullamarine office, depending on the successful candidate’s location and project requirements.

The Role

You’ll oversee high-value electronic security installations and service projects from concept through to completion.

Working from our Mount Waverley or Tullamarine office, you’ll collaborate closely with clients, technicians, subcontractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest technical standard.

This is an office and site-based role involving regular attendance at project sites across Melbourne and Victoria.
