Job summary

Cooinda Search is seeking an experienced Electronic Security Project Manager to lead complex security systems projects in Darwin, NT. You will manage from planning to delivery across alarms, access control, CCTV, and integrated systems for major government and defence clients.

You will oversee financials, stakeholder engagement, OH&S compliance, and design reviews, while benefiting from leadership programs and ongoing training in a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

  • Proven technical skills in electronic security including alarms, access control, CCTV, and integrated systems.
  • Qualifications or experience in Project Management or Project Engineering (preferred).
  • Knowledge of Australian Standards.
  • NV1 Security Clearance desirable or ability to obtain (Australian citizenship).
  • Valid Drivers Licence (mandatory).
  • Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Commitment to high levels of customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the financial delivery of projects, including monthly forecasts and updates.
  • Manage multiple projects efficiently, prioritising workloads and resources.
  • Ensure OH&S procedures and policies are strictly followed.
  • Engage with stakeholders across clients, staff, and sub-contractors.
  • Review and interpret system designs, ensuring successful delivery and installation of integrated electronic security systems.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of security technology, standards, and best practices.
  • Work across government and defence projects ranging from minor works to $9M.

About You:

You are an experienced Project Manager or Electronic Security Technician Lead/Supervisor who thrives on variety, problem-solving, and client interaction. You are organised, proactive, and take pride in delivering high quality outcomes. You bring:
