Job summary

Hix Group is seeking an Electrical Project Manager based in NSW to deliver end-to-end electrical projects safely, on time and within budget. You will engage with clients, subcontractors and internal teams to maintain commercial controls and project governance.

The role requires proven PM experience in electrical construction, strong leadership, and strong financial and contract management skills. NSW drivers licence and White Card are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in electrical construction.
• Strong knowledge of electrical infrastructure and construction projects.
• Commercial and contract management experience.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong financial, planning and problem-solving abilities.
• Current NSW Driver's Licence and White Card.
• Electrical Trade Qualification and Electrical Licence.
• Experience with builders, councils or government clients.

As an Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of multiple electrical projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

You will work closely with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal operational teams to drive project success while maintaining strong commercial and contractual controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage electrical projects from award through to completion.
• Develop and maintain project programs, budgets, and resource plans.
• Lead site teams, supervisors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Monitor project performance, including cost, schedule, quality, and safety.
• Identify and manage project risks and opportunities.
• Maintain client relationships and provide regular project reporting.
• Prepare and assess variations, claims, and progress claims.
• Ensure compliance with WHS requirements, industry standards, and project specifications.
• Coordinate procurement activities and material deliveries.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

• Experience working with builders, councils, or government clients.
