Job summary

AustCorp Executive is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the service and projects team in NSW. You will drive and deliver electrical projects for commercial and government clients across Sydney and western areas, reporting to the State Manager and ensuring high-quality outcomes on time and budget.

In this role you will mentor electricians, manage stakeholder engagement, handle planning, scheduling, invoicing, and financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Electrical trade certification with current unrestricted licence.
• Clean driver’s licence.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience in a construction project environment.
• Process orientated.
• Strong financial reporting and P&L management.

Responsibilities

Job Description

This Project Manager is part of the service and projects team for a large electrical provider. You'll plays a key role in delivering works to multiple commercial and government clients across NSW, predominantly city based and in the west. Reporting to the State Manager, you'll deliver high-quality outcomes that support critical accounts.

The Duties

• Drive projects and ensure they stay in budget and timeframes
• Manage projects valued >$500k
• Manage stakeholder engagement, attend sites and client meetings
• Planning, scheduling and delivery of projects through to invoicing
• Mentor and develop the team of electricians
• Financial reporting, quoting, price variations and procurement
• Undertake safety inspections
• Ensure strong documentation and record keeping

The Ideal Candidate

• Electrical Trade certification, preferably with a current unrestricted licence
• Cabling ticket preferred
• Clean driver's licence
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience in a construction project environment
• Process orientated
• Strong financial reporting and P+L management
• Project experience across lighting, power supply, switchboards, cabling, circuit breakers, control systems etc.
