Job summary

The Network in Australia is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a complex technology implementation. This hands-on role requires delivery leadership across multiple teams, governance, and stakeholder engagement to keep momentum through go-live milestones.

You will work closely with senior leadership, clients and technology partners in a hybrid setup (3 days per week). This is a 6-month contract targeting reliable delivery in critical environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' project management experience in complex technology environments.
• Experience delivering large-scale technology implementations end-to-end.
• Strong stakeholder management across executives, client teams and partners.
• Experience managing multiple vendors and internal delivery teams.
• Understanding of governance, delivery controls, schedules and dependencies.
• Proven experience managing RAID registers, actions, decisions and risks.
• Strong written communication and executive reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day project delivery across multiple teams, stakeholders and delivery partners.

• Maintain RAID, action, decision, dependency and deliverables registers.
• Track critical-path activities and ensure delivery milestones remain on track.
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement, decision-making and issue resolution.
• Plan and coordinate testing, UAT, operational readiness and go-live.
• Work closely with senior project leadership to maintain delivery confidence and momentum.

About the Role

This is a hands-on Senior Project Manager role supporting a complex technology implementation already underway.

Working closely with senior project leadership, client stakeholders, technology partners and delivery teams, you will drive day-to-day delivery, strengthen project governance and maintain momentum through key implementation and go-live milestones.

This role would suit a senior PM who can step into an established delivery environment, quickly understand the landscape, and bring structure, accountability and visibility across a broad stakeholder group.

This is not a purely administrative PMO position. You will actively lead delivery, manage stakeholders, identify issues early and drive them through to resolution.

Key Responsibilities

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• 10+ years' project management experience, ideally within complex technology, ICT or systems integration environments
• Demonstrated experience delivering large-scale technology implementations from planning through to go-live
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to work across senior executives, client teams, technical specialists and delivery partners
• Experience managing multiple vendors, external partners and internal delivery teams
• A practical understanding of project governance, delivery controls, schedules, dependencies and reporting
• Proven experience managing RAID registers, actions, decisions and delivery risks
• Strong written communication skills and the ability to produce clear, concise executive reporting
• The ability to bring structure to an active delivery environment, identify issues early and keep momentum moving
• A proactive, commercially minded approach, with the confidence to influence outcomes without direct authority
