Job summary

Australian Vintage is seeking a Project Manager for a 14-month parental leave cover in Mildura. You will drive new product projects from idea to launch, coordinating timelines, costs, suppliers and approvals while collaborating with Marketing, Sales, Winemaking, Production and Procurement and our UK team.

You don’t need wine knowledge, but you must be organized, people-friendly, and able to manage projects end-to-end with independence. We’ll teach you the wine bit.

Qualifications

• Proven project management experience across multiple projects and deadlines.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Highly organised, detail-focused with the ability to see the bigger picture.
• A practical, solutions-focused approach to problem solving.
• Experience managing costs, timelines, suppliers and competing priorities.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Experience in wine, FMCG, NPD or consumer products is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Manage new product projects from concept through to launch, keeping everything on track.
• Own project plans, timelines, actions and key milestones.
• Run project meetings and reviews, keeping progress and next steps clear.
• Coordinate teams across Marketing, Sales, Winemaking, Production and Procurement.
• Manage external suppliers and partners, including quotes, samples and delivery.
• Identify risks and roadblocks and work with the right people to resolve them.
• Support supplier onboarding and projects focused on cost and efficiency.
• Coordinate product deletions, maintain the Australian Vintage SKU list and work with our UK team.

About the role:

We’re looking for a Project Manager to join our team in Mildura for a 14-month parental leave cover. You’ll take new products from idea to launch, keeping people, timelines, suppliers, costs and approvals moving.

You don’t need to know wine. You do need to be organised, good with people and confident managing projects from start to finish. We’ll teach you the wine bit.

You’ll work across Marketing, Sales, Winemaking, Production and Procurement, as well as with our UK team, with occasional flexibility required for UK/Australian time zones.
