Job summary

Downer Maryborough Service Delivery Centre is seeking an experienced Project Manager to own bids and the full project lifecycle, delivering on time, on budget and to high quality standards.

You will collaborate with internal stakeholders, customers, and suppliers, manage risk, lead cross-functional teams, and uphold safety and governance while traveling interstate and internationally as required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in a Project Manager role.
• Experience in project and contract management.
• Strong understanding of project schedules, controls, cost management and risk management.
• Experience interpreting tender specifications and commercial contracts.
• Proven ability to negotiate contract variations and resolve commercial issues.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and relationship management skills.
• Excellent planning, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams within a matrix organisation.
• Strong commitment to safety and continuous improvement stakeholder groups.

Join our high-performing team at our Maryborough Service Delivery Centre and own the outcomes of some key projects!

We are seeking an experience Project Manager who will focus on new bids and tenders and subsequently be responsible for managing the full project lifecycle. You will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, customers, suppliers, and project teams to drive performance, manage risk, and create certainty in project delivery.

Some accountabilities will include:

• Lead the delivery of complex projects from initiation through to completion.

About You:
