Next Executive is supporting a leading structural engineering consultancy in Perth to appoint a Project Lead – Structural Engineering. You will own project delivery, liaison with clients, builders and consultants, and drive design through construction with hands-on leadership.

The role suits a hands-on engineer with strong problem-solving skills, who can coordinate design teams and ensure milestones are achieved on major building developments.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 5–7+ years' experience in structural engineering, building sector.
• Experience delivering structural packages for commercial, residential or multi-storey developments.
• Strong communication skills engaging with builders, architects and clients.
• Experience coordinating projects through design, documentation and construction.
• Proactive, organised and solutions-focused.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day delivery of structural engineering projects across significant building developments.
• Act as primary contact for clients, builders, architects and project stakeholders.
• Coordinate structural design documentation and multidisciplinary inputs.
• Manage RFIs, site queries and construction-related design issues.
• Attend site meetings, inspections and project coordination workshops.
• Coordinate engineering and drafting resources to meet milestones.
• Provide practical, commercially minded solutions throughout design and construction.
