Job summary

Bluestonerecruitment is seeking a Project Engineer to join a busy Tier 2 builder on a $60m high-end commercial project in South Sydney. The company handles projects up to $120m across commercial, high-end residential and industrial sectors, with all roles centrally located.

They want an all-rounder with delivery experience from start to finish. You will support planning, scheduling, budgeting and collaborate with contractors to drive on-time, on-budget outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in project engineering within the construction industry.
• Experience working for Tier 1/2/3 builders.
• Proven delivery of projects from start to finish.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must already be in Australia to be considered for this role.
• Experience working on commercial type projects within Australia.

• Assist project managers with planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
• Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors for timely, cost-effective delivery.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, contracts, and regulations.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation (schedules, contracts, change orders).
• Monitor progress and update managers on milestones and issues.
• Coordinate with team members to complete tasks on time and within budget.
• Track expenses and provide regular updates to managers.
• Identify and resolve issues, escalating to managers as needed.

The company undertake projects in a variety of sectors up to $120 mil including commercial, high end resi and industrial.

All of their jobs are centrally located, so not need to travel out West and pay an excess in tolls etc..

They are looking for an all rounder, someone who has proven experience in delivering projects start to finish.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
• Detail-oriented with an analytical mindset
