Job summary

Amida Recruit AU is seeking a Project Engineer / Contracts Administrator to join our professional team on large-scale commercial fit-out and refurb projects in Sydney. You will contribute to delivery from conversion through to handover, maintaining high standards of quality, safety and client satisfaction.

You will manage subcontract packages, procurement scheduling, progress reporting and cost control while coordinating with clients and subcontractors to meet program milestones.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or similar field required.
• Experience in commercial fit-out or refurbishment projects.
• Strong financial and contractual understanding.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality, and profitable commercial fit-out projects.
• Prepare and check subcontract packages and tenders.
• Manage procurement schedules to align with program.
• Issue progress reports and monitor budgets.
• Oversee project risk, variations and cost control.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
• Ensure site safety, QA, and compliance throughout delivery.
