Job summary

Transport for NSW is seeking a Project Engineer EL 1-2 for up to 20 months in Tuggerah, NSW. You will provide engineering and project management capability within a regional project development team, delivering infrastructure initiatives from inception to delivery readiness.

You will work with internal clients and technical specialists to ensure projects meet safety, quality and budget requirements, while coordinating stakeholders and managing scope, schedule and risks across multiple concurrent

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience supporting delivery of engineering or infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of project management principles, contract administration and risk management practices.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to analyse technical information and develop practical solutions.
• Well-developed planning, organisation and problem-solving capabilities.
• Commitment to workplace health and safety, quality and environmental management.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning, development and delivery of engineering and infrastructure projects.
• Provide technical engineering advice and recommendations to support project outcomes.
• Monitor project scope, schedules, budgets and risks to ensure successful delivery.
• Coordinate consultants and internal stakeholders throughout project lifecycles.
• Contribute to procurement, contract administration and project governance activities.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards, legislative requirements and organisational policies.
• Prepare project documentation, reports, briefs and correspondence for a range of audiences.
• Promote a strong safety culture and support continuous improvement initiatives across project delivery.
