Transport For NSW is seeking a Project Engineer for a fixed-term full-time role in Yass, NSW, up to 12 months. The position supports the development and delivery of infrastructure maintenance programs, applying technical expertise and collaborating with Construction Engineers, Project Managers and stakeholders.

You will analyse asset information, monitor progress, manage asset data and coordinate contractors to achieve positive project outcomes, while maintaining safety and quality standards

Qualifications

• Four-year Civil or Structural Engineering degree from an Australian university.
• Experience with direct-control construction/maintenance workforces.
• Understanding of tendering, contract administration and procurement.
• Knowledge of infrastructure maintenance and construction materials/techniques.
• Strong communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Valid Australian driver’s licence and willingness to travel/work outside hours.

Responsabilités

• Develop project briefs, define requirements, scope and outcomes for delivery.
• Analyze condition and cost data to support maintenance strategies and programs.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, impacts and opportunities.
• Manage collection and interpretation of asset data to inform decisions.
• Provide engineering advice for rehabilitation and maintenance projects.
• Coordinate contractors and internal service providers to deliver on time.
