Job summary

Bayside Group seeks a Project Engineer for a long-term contract in the North West Sydney area. The role involves coordinating projects, supporting Project Managers, and supervising equipment installations at local and international sites.

Ideal candidates hold a Mechanical Engineering degree, are comfortable travelling, and can work with minimal supervision while communicating effectively with distributors, OEMs, and partners.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
• Willingness to travel locally and internationally.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Project planning, ensuring timely completion and to specification.
• Providing support to Project Managers.
• Travel to local and international sites to supervise the installation of equipment.
• Providing support and guidance to the company’s distributors, OEMs and strategic partners.
• Reviewing project drawings and liaising with the design team.
• Selection of equipment components on suitability, price and availability.
• Preparation of bills of materials as directed.
• Preparation and issuing of specifications, analysing quotes and issuing purchase requisitions.
• Preparation of data for progress / contract reviews.

They are currently seeking a Project Engineer for a long-term contract role (with the view to permanency) in their manufacturing facility based in North West Sydney.

Duties include:

• Project planning, ensuring timely completion and to specification.
