Job summary

Collaborate Recruitment's client in Sydney's Sutherland Shire is seeking two experienced Project Managers to lead complex infrastructure and engineering programs in a heavily regulated government environment.

You will manage scope, design coordination, documentation, budgets and schedules across electrical, mechanical and control systems, engaging stakeholders to deliver from concept through handover.

Contract is 12 months with a view to extension.

Qualifications

• Experience defining project scope and requirements in multi-disciplinary settings.
• Proven ability to develop business cases and project proposals.
• Track record in highly regulated environments with governance emphasis.
• Experience with large-scale warehouse automation or control systems is a plus.
• Background in electrical/mechanical projects and safety systems.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and procurement/tendering familiarity.

Our client is seeking two experienced Project Managers to lead and deliver complex, multi-disciplinary infrastructure and engineering projects within a highly regulated government environment. This is an opportunity to take ownership of major projects from concept, project proposal and business case development through design, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning and final handover.

You will work across complex construction, infrastructure, electrical, mechanical and control system projects, managing scope, design, documentation, budgets, schedules, resources, contractors and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Lead Major Projects in a Highly Regulated Environment.

Key Skills Required:

• Strong experience in project scope definition, requirements management, design coordination, technical documentation and change control.
• Experience developing business cases, project proposals and supporting documentation, ideally within a government environment.
• Experience managing projects in a highly regulated environment where compliance, safety, governance and assurance are critical.
• Experience in new waste storage warehouse- large-scale warehouse automation and material-handling systems or Ventilation and control systems
• Demonstrated experience delivering infrastructure, electrical and/or mechanical projects.
• An understanding of chemical process systems, process safety management, hazard studies such as HAZOP and HAZID, and engineering design principles.
• Experience in control systems within a highly regulated operating environment
• Proven ability to develop business cases and support project documentation.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build productive relationships and respond effectively to diverse stakeholder needs.
• Experience in managing multi-disciplinary projects from conception to completion, including preparation and control of budgets, scheduling, management of resources and tendering activities in accordance with the procurement guidelines
