Synergie Australia is seeking a Project Engineer for a trusted client located in Laverton North.

Important parts:
  • Hours: Monday–Friday, rotating roster between 8:00am–6:00pm | 38 hrs per week
What you will be required to do:

This role delivers safe, compliant capital projects from concept to completion, coordinating design, contractors, budgets, and reliability outcomes.

  • Lead end-to-end CAPEX project planning, design, tendering, and execution
  • Coordinate and supervise contractors to meet safety, quality, cost, and schedule targets
  • Ensure compliance with process safety, MOC, regulatory, and engineering standards
  • Review and validate designs, installations, and technical documentation
  • Monitor budgets, schedules, and project performance trends
  • Embed reliability, RCM, and continuous improvement principles into project delivery
To be successful in the role you will:
  • Degree-qualified Mechanical or Chemical Engineer with 5+ years’ experience delivering projects in manufacturing or process-driven environments
  • Strong knowledge of process safety, risk management, MOC, and Australian/Victorian plant regulations
  • Proven capability in contractor, site safety, and construction management, including tendering and procurement
  • Solid technical grounding in plant design, heat and mass transfer, reliability engineering, RCA and FMEA
  • Proficient in project management tools and documentation, with strong written and verbal communication skills
