Job summary

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience working in processing plants (e.g., gold, copper, nickel, and lithium).
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies and site execution.

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer with strong processing plant experience to join a permanent role. This role is well suited to a hands‑on engineer with proven capability delivering work in processing plant environments, managing contractors, and driving project outcomes safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate day‑to‑day project engineering activities within a processing plant environment.
• Support project planning, scheduling, cost tracking, and reporting activities.
• Manage subcontractors and suppliers to ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
• Coordinate engineering, construction, and commissioning activities.
• Provide technical input into design reviews, constructability assessments, and risk mitigation.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Interface effectively with site operations, maintenance, and other project stakeholders.
• Assist with project documentation including ITPs, RFIs, progress reports, and handover packages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 6 – 8 years of experience ideally in Mechanical background and has worked on processing plants.
• Demonstrated experience working in processing plants (e.g., gold, copper, nickel and lithium).
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, contractor management, and site execution.
• High level of safety awareness with experience working on live or operational sites.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
