Job summary

Trafford Civil Pty Ltd in Brisbane is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our growing civil construction team. You will work on sewer, water and underground utilities projects across QLD, reporting to the Project Manager and coordinating with site teams.

The role focuses on planning, scheduling, cost control and procurement, ensuring WHS and quality standards are met, and liaising with clients and subcontractors to deliver projects safely, on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Proven experience delivering civil and utilities infrastructure projects.
• Experience with sewer and water infrastructure (highly desirable).
• Strong understanding of underground services, trenching and pipeline works.
• Experience with cost reporting and project controls.
• Sound knowledge of Australian Standards and WHS legislation.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Trafford Civil Pty Ltd is a growing civil construction company delivering civil and utilities infrastructure projects across NSW and QLD. Due to continued growth in our Queensland operations, we are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our team.

This role offers the opportunity to work across sewer, water and underground utilities infrastructure projects within a supportive and professional environment.

The Role

Reporting to the Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with the planning, coordination and delivery of civil and utilities projects


• Programming and monitoring project schedules


• Cost control, forecasting and procurement of materials and subcontractors


• Preparing and reviewing SWMS, ITPs and project documentation


• Managing subcontractors and liaising with clients and stakeholders


• Ensuring compliance with WHS, environmental and quality standards


• Supporting site teams to ensure works are delivered safely, on time and within budget

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or related discipline


• Proven experience delivering civil and utilities infrastructure projects


• Previous sewer and water infrastructure experience (highly desirable)
