Job summary

Sydney Water is Australia’s largest water utility, delivering a multi-billion-dollar infrastructure program for NSW. As Project Director, you will lead development, procurement and delivery of major projects valued between $750 million and $1.5 billion, guiding multidisciplinary teams and ensuring delivery in line with contractual, regulatory and business requirements.

You will build strong stakeholder relationships, drive risk management, and manage complex governance across delivery partners

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering complex, high-value capital infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in complex environments.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and negotiation skills.
• Experience in planning, risk and change management for large programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the successful delivery of major infrastructure projects, ensuring safety, time, budget and quality targets.
• Provide strategic leadership to multidisciplinary project teams and delivery partners.
• Build and maintain relationships with contractors, government agencies and community representatives.
• Oversee commercial, technical and delivery risks and implement effective mitigations.
• Manage governance, approvals, procurement and planning to meet regulatory and business objectives.
