Job summary

MineFill Services is seeking a decisive project delivery leader to head an EPC/ EPCM team responsible for delivering major mining projects. You will drive strategy, governance and execution from engineering through handover, ensuring safety, quality, cost, schedule and performance targets are achieved.

The role requires senior leadership on complex mining projects, with strong governance, risk management and stakeholder engagement capabilities.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in engineering, construction management, project management or related discipline.
• Significant senior leadership experience on major EPC or EPCM projects.
• Proven experience across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover.
• Demonstrated accountability for major project budgets, integrated schedules and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong contractor, supplier, commercial and stakeholder-management capability.
• Knowledge of project governance, controls, risk and change management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the integrated engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and project controls functions.
• Establish and execute the project delivery strategy, governance framework and project execution plan.
• Make key engineering decisions to the design and implementation of the plant.
• Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with environmental, regulatory and community commitments.
• Oversee engineering quality, design maturity, constructability and technical assurance.
• Direct procurement, contract management and the performance of consultants, suppliers and construction contractors.
• Maintain control of project scope, budget, schedule, risk, change and commercial performance.
• Lead construction, commissioning, operational-readiness and asset-handover activities.
• Build and develop a high-performing, accountable project team.
• Manage relationships with executives, clients, partners, regulators, communities and other key stakeholders.
• Provide transparent reporting and take timely action to address emerging project risks and performance issues.

Job Opportunity: Head of Project Delivery – Mining (EPC)

Position Overview

MineFill Services is seeking an accomplished project delivery leader to head a multidisciplinary Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) team responsible for delivering major mining projects.

Reporting to senior executive leadership, this role has overall accountability for safe and successful delivery – from detailed engineering and procurement through construction, commissioning, operational readiness and handover. The successful candidate will lead project strategy, governance and execution, ensuring safety, quality, cost, schedule and performance objectives are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

About You

You are a decisive and commercially astute project leader with extensive experience delivering large, complex mining, mineral-processing or heavy-industrial projects. You combine strong technical and commercial judgement with visible safety leadership and the ability to align diverse stakeholders around clear delivery priorities.

You will bring:

• A tertiary qualification in engineering, construction management, project management or a related discipline.
• Significant senior leadership experience on major EPC or EPCM projects.
• Proven experience across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover.
• Demonstrated accountability for major project budgets, integrated schedules and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong contractor, supplier, commercial and stakeholder-management capability.
• Thorough knowledge of project governance, controls, risk and change management.
• Experience operating in remote, complex and high-risk project environments.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation and decision-making skills.
• Professional registration, postgraduate qualifications, project-management certification and experience delivering brownfield or operational mining projects will be highly regarded.
