Job summary

Ivory Group in Sydney is seeking a Project Coordinator or Site Supervisor to work with the Project Manager across commercial fitout and refurbishment projects, driving site activity and ensuring trades perform to schedule and standards.

This hands-on role suits someone early in their construction career, with energy and a desire to grow fast in a business that rewards delivery, with a structured pathway into Project Management and opportunities on high-profile projects.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years experience in construction.
• Background in commercial fitout and refurbishment projects preferred.
• Trade or tertiary education qualification or currently working towards a building related discipline.
• Strong communicator with the ability to manage trades and subcontractors on site.
• Solid and stable work history with previous employers.

Responsibilities

• Day to day site supervision and coordination.
• Subcontractor coordination and management.
• Project scheduling and programme oversight.
• Site inspections and quality control.
• Safety audits and WHS compliance.
• Client communication and site reporting.
• Defect identification and management.
• Liaising with the Project Manager and office team.
