Our client is a leading construction contractor, offering services in the civil, commercial and railway industries.

• Thomastown Office
• Monday-Friday 8am-4pm
• Twice weekly site visits throughout Melbourne
• Attractive salary package

Scope: In this role you will be responsible for coordinating project activities, including safety documentation, resource scheduling, contractor instructions, site supervision, performance tracking, stakeholder communication, and internal administration.

• Ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of projects to promote industry safety and technical standards, and client expectations
• Preparing and developing documentation including project briefs, schedules and management plans
• Supervise project activities including the management of project contractors
• Conduct internal reporting, and identify and manage potential risks
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and internal staff

Requirements:

• Qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or a similar field (desirable).
• Demonstrated experience across varied situations and has in depth knowledge of Rail Standards, requirements and processes (desirable).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills including report writing, proposals and recommendations.
• Ability to deliver and develop clear and concise presentations to internal and external audiences as required.
• Ability to identify complex problems and effectively problem solve.
