Job summary

Awx Pty Ltd, a well-established roofing contractor, seeks a proactive Project Coordinator to support the Construction Manager and project team in South East Queensland. Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day project coordination support to the Construction Manager.
• Coordinate roofing projects from start to completion.
• Maintain project documentation, records and compliance.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and material orders.
• Assist with scheduling, site coordination and milestone tracking.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and site personnel.
• Monitor progress and follow up on actions.
• Prepare project updates, meeting minutes and other docs.
• Assist with procurement and ensure materials are available.
• Support the Construction Manager with day-to-day requirements.
• Ensure project information is accurate and up to date.
• Support delivery of multiple roofing projects.

Our client is a well-established roofing contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality commercial roofing projects across South East Queensland. Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, they are seeking an organised, proactive and hands-on P roject Coordinator to support the Construction Manager and wider project team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in the roofing or construction industry, particularly someone who has worked with metal roofing, commercial roofing projects, or roofing contractors.

The Project Coordinator will play a key role in coordinating projects from commencement through to completion, working closely with the Construction Manager, subcontractors, suppliers, clients and site teams to ensure projects are well organised and delivered efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing day-to-day project coordination and support to the Construction Manager
• Coordinating roofing projects from commencement through to completion
• Maintaining project documentation, records, correspondence and compliance requirements
• Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and material orders
• Assisting with project scheduling, site coordination and tracking project milestones
• Liaising with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and site personnel
• Monitoring project progress and following up outstanding actions
• Preparing project updates, reports, meeting minutes and other documentation
• Assisting with procurement and ensuring materials are available when required
• Supporting the Construction Manager with day-to-day project requirements
• Ensuring project information is accurate, organised and up to date
• Supporting the successful and timely delivery of multiple roofing projects

The Candidate

• Previous experience in Project Coordination, Roofing Supervisor, or a similar role
• Experience within the roofing industry is highly desirable
• A background in metal roofing or commercial roofing would be highly regarded
• An understanding of roofing construction, materials, subcontractors and project delivery
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects and competing priorities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• A practical, hands-on approach to project coordination
