Harvey Norman Shopfitting in Sydney is seeking a project coordinator to support current and upcoming fit-out projects. You will assist with inspections, compile documentation, and help deliver high-quality installations on time.

Your role requires strong organisational and communication skills, the ability to read plans, and proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office. You will collaborate with managers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Harvey Norman Shopfitting is a wholly owned subsidiary of Harvey Norman Holdings Limited. Located at South Strathfield, our main purpose is to assist in the design, manufacturing and fit out of owned and leased Harvey Norman, Domayne and Joyce Mayne franchised complexes.

About the role

Reporting to the Manager of Shopfitting, you will provide essential support to the existing and upcoming projects to ensure seamless delivery and execution.

You will;

• Support with inspections by providing checklists and documentation to ensure the job is completed to a high standard.
• Ensure adherence to WHS matters and compliance standards in line with the NCC (National Construction Code).
• Assistingproject managers to manage successful internal and external stakeholder relationships with subcontractors, proprietors, internal team members, and others to ensureaccuratedelivery and installation of allitems.
• Analyse and review floor plans to compile a list of manufacture and installation requirements.
• Assist Project Managers to develop and execute delivery and staging plans to ensure timely completion of fit-out.
• Manage documentation for issues and defects to ensure timely resolution.
• Use a combination of databases and Excel to track costs against budgets, helping project management stay on track.
• Prepare comprehensive reports that align with project progress.
