Job summary

Harvey Norman Shopfitting in South Strathfield is seeking a Project Coordinator to support the design, manufacture and fit out of franchised complexes. You will coordinate projects from manufacture through to completion, reporting to the Shopfitting Manager in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

You will help manage inspections, plans, budgets and stakeholder relationships, develop delivery and staging plans, and prepare progress reports to keep projects on track.

• Ability to read and interpret plans.

Responsibilities

• Support inspections by providing checklists and documentation to ensure the job is completed to a high standard.
• Ensure adherence to WHS matters and compliance standards in line with the NCC (National Construction Code).
• Assisting project managers to manage successful internal and external stakeholder relationships with subcontractors, proprietors, internal team members, and others to ensure accurate delivery and installation of all items.
• Analyse and review floor plans to compile a list of manufacture and installation requirements.
• Assist Project Managers to develop and execute delivery and staging plans to ensure timely completion of fit-out.
• Manage documentation for issues and defects to ensure timely resolution.
• Use a combination of databases and Excel to track costs against budgets, helping project management stay on track.
• Prepare comprehensive reports that align with project progress.

About the role

Reporting to the Manager of Shopfitting, you will provide essential support to the existing and upcoming projects to ensure seamless delivery and execution.
