Job summary

Icon Construction is seeking a skilled project coordinator to join our growing construction team. You will work closely with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to the highest standards.

You will assist with planning, scheduling, budgeting, documentation, and tracking milestones, with a focus on large-scale projects from $50m upwards; facade experience is beneficial and a strong team player mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
• 3 years of experience in project coordination or management in the construction industry.
• Experience working on largescale construction project from $50m upwards.
• Facade experience is beneficial.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of construction project management tools and software.
• Understanding of construction contracts and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist project managers with project planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
• Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, contracts, and applicable regulations.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including project schedules, contracts, and change orders.
• Monitor project progress and update project managers on key milestones and potential issues.
• Coordinate with project team members to ensure that all project-related tasks are completed on time and within budget.
• Track project expenses and provide regular updates to project managers.
• Identify and resolve project-related issues and elevate issues to project managers as needed.
• Ensure that project records and documents are accurate and up-to-date.

You will work closely with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
