Job summary

Icon Construction is seeking a Project Coordinator to support delivery on a large construction project, reporting to the Project Manager and working with site teams to manage coordination, documentation and reporting.

This role offers exposure to finishes, fit-out, commissioning and handover processes, with 2–5 years' experience and a relevant construction qualification.

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years' experience in a Project Coordinator/Engineer, Contract Administrator or similar role.
  • Experience on commercial, education, government or institutional projects valued from $50M+.
  • Experience supporting finishes, fit-out, commissioning or project close-out activities is highly regarded.
  • Relevant qualification in Construction Management, Engineering or related discipline.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work collaboratively within a project team.
  • Understanding of construction contracts, project controls and reporting processes.

  • Support project delivery from construction through to completion.
  • Assist with subcontractor management and coordination.
  • Maintain project documentation and reporting.
  • Support handover processes and project close-out activities.

About the Opportunity as Project Coordinator

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will play a key role in supporting project delivery from construction through to completion. Working alongside experienced project and site teams, you will assist with project coordination, subcontractor management, documentation, reporting and project close-out activities.

This position is ideal for someone looking to further develop their career on a large construction project while gaining valuable exposure to finishes, fit-out and handover processes.

Qualifications
  • 2-5 years' experience in a Project Coordinator/Engineer, Contract Administrator or similar role
