Job summary

People X Design in Sydney's Surry Hills Studio is seeking a Project Architect to lead design and delivery of hospitality and commercial projects from concept to completion. Based in our vibrant studio, you will collaborate with clients and consultants to deliver innovative architecture.

The role requires a degree in Architecture and 6+ years of post-graduation experience, strong Revit skills, and a proactive, team-focused approach.

Responsibilities

As a Project Architect in this newly created role, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the built environment within Hospitality and Commercial Design in Australia. Working as part of a dynamic and talented team, you will contribute your expertise to the delivery of innovative architectural projects. This full-time position will see you based in the Surry Hills Studio with the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects.

The ROLE:

• Lead the design and delivery of architectural projects from concept through to completion
• Collaborate closely with clients, consultants and the broader project team to ensure designs meet project requirements and budgets
• Produce high-quality design drawings, 3D models and documentation to support planning approvals and construction - Revit
• Provide expert advice and guidance to the project team on technical and regulatory matters
• Manage and oversee the work of junior architects and technicians

The SKILLS needed:

• Degree qualified in Architecture with 6+ years of post-graduation experience
• Proven track record in the delivery of complex architectural projects from concept to completion
• Strong design skills and a portfolio demonstrating your creativity and technical proficiency
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
• Thorough understanding of building codes, planning regulations and construction methods
• Proficiency in Revit
• Collaborative mindset and a commitment to working as part of a high-performing team

Salary Range (Depending on skills and experience): $100,000 to $130,000 plus super.
