Job summary

Ignite is partnering with an established architectural practice in Sydney seeking an experienced Project Architect to join its growing team. You will manage smaller projects or components of larger projects and collaborate with consultants, builders and client-side stakeholders.

Ideal candidates have 5–10 years' architectural experience, healthcare project exposure and strong Revit capability, with potential to lead and grow with the business.

Ignite is partnering with an established architectural practice in Sydney seeking an experienced Project Architect to join its growing team.

This role is ideally suited to an architect with approximately 5–10 years’ experience who has worked within the healthcare sector and is ready to take greater ownership of project delivery.

You will have experience managing smaller projects or key components of larger projects, while working collaboratively with internal teams, consultants, builders and client-side stakeholders.

Beyond the immediate role, the practice is looking for someone who wants to grow with the business over the long term, with the potential to progress into management and ultimately take responsibility for designing and leading larger projects.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing smaller architectural projects or key components of larger projects
• Supporting projects from design through documentation and delivery
• Producing and coordinating architectural documentation using Revit
• Liaising with consultants, builders and client-side stakeholders
• Coordinating project information across internal and external teams
• Supporting the resolution of design and technical issues
• Maintaining project quality and documentation standards
• Taking increasing ownership of project delivery as your role develops
• Contributing to a collaborative and high-performing project environment

About You

To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:

• Approximately 5–10 years’ architectural experience
• Previous experience working on healthcare projects
• Strong Revit capability
• Experience managing smaller projects or components of larger projects
• Strong architectural documentation and coordination skills
• Confidence liaising with consultants, builders and clients
• Ability to work collaboratively while demonstrating the drive to lead
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• A genuine interest in progressing into a leadership position over time
