Get involved in significant healthcare projects, shaping impactful environments for patients and communities.
This Project Architect role involves leading complex healthcare projects within the Brisbane studio of a leading national architecture practice. This is an appealing opportunity for an Architect who wants to be involved in complex healthcare projects, working closely with clients, and helping shape their growing Brisbane studio with a national footprint.
A key focus is a $500M regional Queensland hospital redevelopment for Queensland Health.
With masterplanning complete, the project will deliver 100+ additional overnight beds, a new clinical services building, expanded emergency and surgical facilities, maternity and women's health services, and a rooftop helipad. Main construction is expected to commence in 2027, with Stage 1 targeted for completion by 2030.
The role involves project delivery, consultant coordination, Revit documentation, services integration, quality, compliance and stakeholder communication. There's also a clear mentoring piece, with the opportunity to support younger architects while contributing to how the studio continues to build its Queensland presence.
Success means technical leadership, effective coordination, and building lasting client and team relationships while impacting patient and community outcomes.
Their projects range from community facilities through to highly complex health environments. The work calls for sound technical judgement, calm leadership, and an ability to keep a lot of moving parts aligned.
