Job summary

The University of Adelaide is seeking a Senior Organisational Performance specialist to lead and deliver organisational development initiatives that strengthen performance, capability and culture across the university.

You will design evidence-based programs, facilitate team development, oversee coaching and mentoring, and translate workforce data into practical solutions for leaders and teams, supporting sustainable organisational change.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to develop and implement organisational development strategies and initiatives, including leadership capability, organisational culture, coaching, and change support.
• Experience using tools to measure and strengthen organisational health, including interventions at individual, team, and organisation levels.
• Proven ability in data analysis and interpretation, with advanced skills in preparing and presenting analytical and strategic reports.
• Experience in coaching and facilitation, with the ability to engage and influence staff and leaders at various levels.

Full-time, continuing position

Salary Range: $116,320 - $130,498 per annum (plus 17% superannuation)

Work that matters

The Senior Organisational Performance specialist leads and delivers organisational development initiatives that strengthen organisational performance, capability and culture, enhance leadership practice, and support sustainable organisational change. Working closely with leaders and stakeholders across the University, you will design and implement evidence-based programs, facilitate team development initiatives, oversee coaching and mentoring opportunities, and provide expert insights that strengthen individual, team and organisational effectiveness.

As a trusted advisor, you will translate organisational development strategies into practical solutions for leaders and teams, informed by workforce data, insights and diagnostics. You will contribute to reporting, business case development, and the continuous enhancement of frameworks and resources that enable organisational outcomes. Through collaborative partnerships and a practical, solutions-focused approach, you will drive initiatives that enhance organisational performance and strengthen workforce capability and culture across the University.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Organisational Performance, this role is part of a specialist team within Organisational Capability, a strategic function responsible for shaping the employee experience and enabling organisational success. Through initiatives spanning performance, recognition, succession, leadership and culture, the team designs and delivers practical solutions that build capability, deepen engagement and create meaningful outcomes for employees, leaders and the broader University community.
