Mackay Regional Council is looking for a Program Support Officer to join our Infrastructure Planning team in a permanent full-time role. This is a great opportunity for an experienced administrative all-rounder who enjoys helping a team stay on track, keeping information accurate, managing inboxes, updating customer requests and using systems to support meaningful work for the Mackay region.
As Program Support Officer, you will provide hands-on administrative, technical and customer request support to the Infrastructure Planning team. You will be part of a supportive local government environment where accuracy, follow-through, communication and teamwork really matter.
This role will suit someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in being organised and likes being the person who can be trusted to keep records, requests, reports and systems moving in the right direction.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
A Certificate in Business, Administration or a related discipline, or extensive experience in a similar administrative support role, will be highly regarded.
