Job summary

RGH-Global Limited is seeking a senior Program Director to lead a Capital Markets delivery program. You will partner with senior client executives, global delivery teams, and technology stakeholders to align strategy, oversee complex workstreams, and ensure successful outcomes.

The role requires extensive Investment Banking and Capital Markets experience, strong governance and stakeholder engagement, and a track record of delivering large, high-value client programs within financial software

Qualifications

• 6+ years of Investment Banking experience.
• 5+ years of Capital Markets experience.
• 5+ years of Financial Software Implementation.
• 8+ years of experience with Agile methodologies.
• Proven track record as a Program Director or senior program leader managing complex client programs.
• Strong governance, risk management, and executive stakeholder engagement expertise.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams across organizations.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to engage at C-suite level.
• Understanding of end-to-end software delivery, implementation, and support lifecycles.
• Solid commercial awareness including program financials and contractual commitments.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and executive oversight, ensuring alignment with objectives and contractual commitments.
• Lead and govern multiple interdependent workstreams across product delivery, implementation, and support teams.
• Build strong relationships with senior client stakeholders, executives, sponsors, and internal leadership.
• Establish program governance frameworks, delivery strategies, and effective decision-making structures.
• Act as the primary escalation point for risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Provide strategic oversight and guidance to Project Managers and delivery leads.
• Monitor program milestones, financials, risks, dependencies, and performance.
• Ensure transparent executive reporting, delivery accountability, and client satisfaction.
• Drive collaboration across software providers, Business Analysts, Developers, QA, and implementation teams.

We're Hiring: Program Director – Capital Markets

Location: Sydney, Australia (Hybrid – 2 days onsite, Tuesday & Thursday)
Contract: 6 months,renewal

We are currently partnering with a leading global technology organization to identify an experienced Program Director for a strategic Asset Finance product delivery program within the Capital Markets domain.

This is a senior leadership opportunity requiring a strong combination of program governance, investment banking knowledge, financial software implementation experience, and technical expertise.

You will work closely with senior client executives, global delivery teams, and technology stakeholders to drive strategic alignment, oversee complex workstreams, and ensure successful program outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and executive oversight, ensuring alignment with business objectives and contractual commitments.
• Lead and govern multiple interdependent workstreams across product delivery, implementation, and support teams.
• Build strong relationships with senior client stakeholders, executives, sponsors, and internal leadership.

Required Experience & Skills

• 6+ years of Investment Banking experience.
• 5+ years of Capital Markets experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Financial Software Implementation.
• 8+ years of experience working with Agile methodologies.
• Substantial experience as a Program Director or senior program leader managing complex, high-value client programs.
• Strong expertise in program governance, risk management, and executive stakeholder engagement.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and manage cross-functional teams across multiple organizations.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage confidently at C-suite level.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end software delivery, implementation, and support lifecycles.
• Solid commercial awareness, including program financials, contractual commitments, and delivery risks.

Nice to Have

• Experience delivering large-scale transformation programs within Financial Technology (FinTech) or Capital Markets.
• Previous experience working with Tier-1 banking clients.
• Knowledge of lending platforms, asset finance, or loan servicing transformations.
• Relevant Project Management certifications.
