Job summary

Rabobank Australia Limited is seeking an experienced Senior Program Coordinator to join Project ELEVATE, an enterprise-wide transformation enhancing governance, risk management and accountability. The role is based in Sydney on a 2-year fixed-term contract.

You will support the Program Director, PMO Lead and project managers, coordinating governance forums, schedules and reports while managing RAID and change records across multiple workstreams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in project coordination, PMO, or program support.
• Experience supporting large-scale transformation programs (>$20M), in banking/FS.
• Proven ability supporting Program Directors, senior leaders & executive stakeholders.
• Strong governance, executive reporting, Steering Committee packs & PMO disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Support the Program Director, PMO Lead & Project Managers to maintain governance and delivery practices.
• Coordinate governance forums, meetings and reporting cycles including agendas, packs, minutes and actions.
• Maintain RAID logs, dependencies, decisions and change registers with timely follow-up.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, governance calendars and reporting timelines.
• Prepare and consolidate status reports, governance materials and executive updates.
• Manage program documentation, repositories, version control and approval records.
• Support financial administration including budget tracking, forecasting, invoicing and reporting.
• Coordinate onboarding, offboarding, access requests and team administration tasks.
• Drive consistency in reporting, templates, processes and documents management.
• Identify opportunities to improve governance, reporting, automation and PMO effectiveness.

About The Role

Rabobank’s COO Domain has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Program Coordinator to join Project ELEVATE, a high-profile enterprise-wide transformation program focused on strengthening operational resilience, risk management, governance & accountability across the bank.

This Sydney-based role is offered as a 2-year fixed-term contract.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

• Support the Program Director, PMO Lead & Project Managers to maintain effective program governance & delivery practices
• Coordinate governance forums, meetings & reporting cycles, including agendas, packs, minutes & action tracking
• Maintain RAID logs, dependencies, decisions & change registers, ensuring accountability & timely follow-up
• Develop & maintain project schedules, governance calendars & reporting timelines
• Prepare & consolidate status reports, governance materials & executive-level updates
• Manage program documentation, repositories, version control & approval records
• Support financial administration, including budget tracking, forecasting, invoicing & resource reporting
• Coordinate onboarding, offboarding, access requests & team administration activities
• Drive consistency in reporting, templates, processes & document management
• Identify opportunities to improve governance, reporting, automation & PMO effectiveness

About You

You bring extensive experience in program coordination & PMO governance & delivery support within complex transformation environments. With strong critical thinking & sound judgement, you are comfortable providing informed challenge, influencing stakeholders, & contributing to effective governance outcomes while working autonomously in a fast-paced environment.

To be successful, you will have:

• 7+ years' experience in project coordination, PMO, or program support
• Experience supporting large-scale transformation programs (>$20M), in banking or financial services
• Proven capability supporting Program Directors, senior leaders & executive stakeholders
• Strong experience with governance, executive reporting, Steering Committee packs & PMO disciplines
• Demonstrated expertise managing RAID processes, integrated planning & dependency tracking across multiple workstreams
• Strong understanding of risk, issue, dependency & change management processes
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities & deadlines
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail & confidence engaging with stakeholders at all levels
• Advanced Microsoft 365 skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams & SharePoint, with experience using MS Project & Azure DevOps
• Strong judgement, discretion & the ability to work with sensitive information
