Rabobank Australia is seeking an IT Resilience Manager to join our Sydney-based team within the Security & Control function of the COO Domain. You will act as a trusted Line 1 resilience risk specialist, providing practical guidance to strengthen IT resilience across operations, technology services and third‑party providers.

This role offers the opportunity to uplift resilience maturity, shape risk strategies, deliver insights and drive continuous improvement to keep critical services responsive

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in IT Disaster Recovery and resilience risk.
• Knowledge of Business Continuity Management and Technology Risk.
• Strong understanding of CPS 230 regulatory requirements.
• Ability to identify vulnerabilities and dependencies across processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to present insights.
• Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders across business, technology and risk teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist Line 1 resilience IT risk expertise & challenge across IT Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity Management.
• Analyse critical resource dependencies & identify IT resilience vulnerabilities, concentration risks & single points of failure.
• Drive the continuous uplift of resilience capabilities by supporting IT resilience assessments, recovery capability reviews & risk treatment initiatives.
• Help strengthen integration of IT Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity Management, & broader resource management practices to improve end‑to‑end resilience outcomes.
• Deliver reporting, insights & recommendations that support governance & resilience maturity objectives.
• Support the COO Domain's operational resilience strategy & regulatory obligations through stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement initiatives.

Due to an internal promotion, we are seeking a IT Resilience Manager to join our highly engaged Sydney‑based team within the Security & Control function of the COO Domain.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, COO Risk & Control, you will be a trusted Line 1 IT resilience risk specialist, providing practical advice to help strengthen & evolve the COO Domain's operational resilience capability. This is a unique opportunity to shape how IT resilience risk is understood & managed across business operations, technology services, & third‑party providers. In this role, you will play a key part in uplifting Rabobank's resilience maturity & operational readiness, helping ensure our critical services remain responsive & resilient when it matters most

Top Role Accountabilities:

• Provide specialist Line 1 resilience IT risk expertise & challenge across IT Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity Management
• Analyse critical resource dependencies & identify IT resilience vulnerabilities, concentration risks & single points of failure that could impact the delivery of critical business services
• Drive the continuous uplift of resilience capabilities by supporting IT resilience assessments, recovery capability reviews & risk treatment initiatives
• Help strengthen the integration of IT Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity Management, & broader resource management practices to improve end‑to‑end resilience outcomes & recovery readiness
• Deliver meaningful reporting, insights & recommendations that support informed decision‑making, governance & resilience maturity objectives
• Support the COO Domain's operational resilience strategy, regulatory obligations & resilience culture through stakeholder engagement, advice & continuous improvement initiatives

To be successful you will have:

We're looking for a strategic thinker with a passion for IT resilience & risk management, who thrives in complex environments & enjoys influencing positive change.

• Demonstrated experience in IT Disaster Recovery
• An understanding of Business Continuity Management & Technology Risk
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, including CPS 230
• A curious mindset, with the ability to identify vulnerabilities, dependencies & IT resilience risks across interconnected processes & processes
• Exceptional written & verbal communication skills, including the ability to present clear insights & recommendations
• The ability to influence & collaborate with stakeholders across business, technology & risk teams
