Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Ageing Support or Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent.
• Experience developing and delivering recreational or social activities for older people, people with disabilities, or those living with dementia.
• Genuine passion for supporting older people, particularly those living with dementia.
• Commitment to person-centred care and practice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to foster teamwork and contribute to a collaborative environment.
• Sound computer literacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of the Social Support Program activities for older people, including those living with dementia.
• Assist in planning, coordinating and evaluating group activities to promote social connection and independence.
• Support participants in maintaining independent living skills within a welcoming environment.
