Central Highlands Rural Health is looking for compassionate and motivated Personal Care Assistants (PCA) to join our Care at Home team on a 12-month fixed term assignment, casual positions also available.

You’ll work with clients supported through the Transition Care Program and the Department of Veterans' Affairs, delivering personal care, daily living assistance, respite, companionship, transport and community access.

Formación

• Warm, reliable and professional approach to care.
• Minimum Certificate III in Aged and Community Services (or equivalent).
• Current First Aid Certificate and Drivers Licence.

Role Statement:

As part of our Care at Home team, you'll work with clients receiving support through:

• Transition Care Program
• Department of Veterans' Affairs

• Assistance with personal care and daily living activities
• Respite and companionship
• Transport and community access
• Low-level therapeutic rehabilitation
• Support that empowers clients to remain independent at home

What We're Looking For:

• A warm, reliable, and professional approach to care
• A genuine desire to work in rural and regional communities
• Minimum Certificate III in Aged and Community Services (or equivalent)
• Current First Aid Certificate and Drivers Licence
• Flexibility to work across a variety of shifts and locations on a casual basis

Details of Appointment:

• 12 month Fixed-term, part-time position working 24 hours per fortnight
• Casual positions also avaialble
• Dependent on experience, as per award + superannuation

All appointments to Central Highlands Rural Health are subject to a satisfactory clearance of a National Police Check. Employee Working with Children Check and NDIS checks are required for some positions within the organisation.Successful applicants will be required to provide evidence of an immunisation assessment prior to commencement. It is mandatory for all employees who work within the Health Care Sector have their flu vaccinations. Evidence must be provided prior to commencement with Central Health Rural Health.
