Job summary

Central Highlands Rural Health in Ballarat seeks an Allied Health Assistant to support the Transition Care Program. You will work with Allied Health Professionals to run low-intensity activities helping older clients regain confidence and independence.

This is a 12-month fixed-term, part-time role (36 hours per fortnight) that also covers administration and equipment tasks, with supervision and opportunities to grow within a multidisciplinary team across hospital and home settings.

Qualifications

• Deliver low-intensity therapeutic activities under supervision.
• Support with admin, equipment management and daily tasks.
• Assist clients to improve physical, cognitive and social function.

Responsibilities

• Provide low-intensity therapeutic activities under supervision.
• Support clients to regain independence post-hospitalisation.
• Assist with general administration and equipment management.
