Job summary

UCC Coffee in Australia is seeking a Production Warehouse Operator to maintain inventory accuracy and support production and supply chain activities at our Preston site. This is a full-time role working 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 2:00pm, in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

You will safely load/unload trucks, verify deliveries, manage stock, prep customer orders, and assist with production material supply.

• Forklift licence with reach truck experience

Responsibilities

• Safely loading and unloading trucks, raw materials, and packaging using forklifts, reach trucks, and other material handling equipment
• Verifying documentation against deliveries and dispatches
• Safely unloading green bean bulk bags and storing into satellite racking
• Collecting finished goods from production, wrapping and labelling pallets, and storing them in warehouse locations
• Supporting production operations by ensuring materials are available to manufacturing when required
• Maintaining inventory accuracy through stock counts and rotation
• Picking, packing, labeling, and preparing customer orders for dispatch when required
• Undertaking additional warehouse and production duties as directed by the Team Leader or Manager

The role:

Join us as our Production Warehouse Operator, where you'll play a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting our production and supply chain operations. You’ll be responsible for :

• Safely loading and unloading trucks, raw materials, and packaging using forklifts, reach trucks, and other material handling equipment.
• Verifying documentation against deliveries and dispatches.
• Safely unloading green bean bulk bags and hessian sacks from trucks and putting away into satellite racking.
• Collecting finished goods from production, wrapping and labelling pallets, and accurately storing them in designated warehouse locations.
• Supporting production operations by ensuring materials are available and supplied to manufacturing when required.
• Maintaining inventory accuracy through stock counts, stock rotation, and accurate record keeping.
• Where required, accurately pick, pack, label, and prepare customer orders for dispatch.
• Undertaking additional warehouse and production duties as directed by the Team Leader or Manager.

About you:

We're seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic individual with experience in production and warehousing within the manufacturing and FMCG space. You're attentive to detail, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are known for your reliability and 'can-do' attitude. Strong communication, time management, and teamwork skills are essential, and you adapt quickly to change while upholding quality and safety standards. You'll also hold a current, valid forklift licence with experience operating a reach truck.
