Job summary

UCC Coffee Preston is seeking a Production Warehouse Operator to support production and supply chain activities with a focus on inventory accuracy. You will help load/unload, verify deliveries, and store goods securely in designated locations.

The role is full-time (38 hours/week) from 6:00am to 2:00pm, Monday to Friday, based at Preston. A current forklift licence and adherence to safety standards are essential.

Qualifications

• Production and warehousing experience in manufacturing and FMCG.
• Attention to detail and reliability.
• Strong communication, time management and teamwork.
• Current forklift licence with reach truck experience.

Responsibilities

• Safely loading and unloading trucks and materials using forklifts and reach trucks.
• Verifying documentation against deliveries and dispatches.
• Unloading green bean bulk bags and storing into satellite racking.
• Collecting finished goods, wrapping and labelling pallets and storing them properly.
• Ensuring materials are available for production when required.
• Maintaining inventory accuracy through stock counts and record keeping.
• Picking, packing, labeling, and preparing customer orders for dispatch when needed.
• Undertaking additional duties as directed by the Team Leader or Manager.

The role:

Join us as our Production Warehouse Operator, where you’ll play a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting our production and supply chain operations. This is a great opportunity to become part of a fast-paced team and contribute to the efficient day-to-day operation of our warehouse and production activities.

You’ll be responsible for :

• Safely loading and unloading trucks, raw materials, and packaging using forklifts, reach trucks, and other material handling equipment.
• Verifying documentation against deliveries and dispatches.
• Safely unloading green bean bulk bags and hessian sacks from trucks and putting away into satellite racking.
• Collecting finished goods from production, wrapping and labelling pallets, and accurately storing them in designated warehouse locations.
• Supporting production operations by ensuring materials are available and supplied to manufacturing when required.
• Maintaining inventory accuracy through stock counts, stock rotation, and accurate record keeping.
• Where required, accurately pick, pack, label, and prepare customer orders for dispatch.
• Undertaking additional warehouse and production duties as directed by the Team Leader or Manager.

About you:

We’re seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic individual with experience in production and warehousing within the manufacturing and FMCG space. You’re attentive to detail, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are known for your reliability and “can-do” attitude. Strong communication, time management, and teamwork skills are essential, and you adapt quickly to change while upholding quality and safety standards. You’ll also hold a current, valid forklift licence with experience operating a reach truck.
