Job summary

UCC Coffee Australia & New Zealand is hiring a Production Warehouse Operator at our Preston site in Melbourne. You’ll maintain inventory accuracy and support production and supply chain operations in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

This full-time role is 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 6:00am–2:00pm. You’ll load/unload trucks, manage stock, and prepare customer orders while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in production and warehousing within manufacturing or FMCG.
• Forklift licence is required to operate material handling equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload trucks and materials using forklifts and reach trucks.
• Verify documentation against deliveries and dispatches.
• Store green beans and finished goods in designated locations and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Support production by ensuring materials are available for manufacturing.
• Pick, pack, label and prepare customer orders for dispatch when required.
• Perform additional warehouse and production duties as directed by supervision.

The Role

Join us as our Production Warehouse Operator, where you’ll play a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting our production and supply chain operations. This is a great opportunity to become part of a fast-paced team and contribute to the efficient day-to-day operation of our warehouse and production activities.

You’ll Be Responsible For

• Safely loading and unloading trucks, raw materials, and packaging using forklifts, reach trucks, and other material handling equipment.
• Verifying documentation against deliveries and dispatches.
• Safely unloading green bean bulk bags and hessian sacks from trucks and putting away into satellite racking.
• Collecting finished goods from production, wrapping and labelling pallets, and accurately storing them in designated warehouse locations.
• Supporting production operations by ensuring materials are available and supplied to manufacturing when required.
• Maintaining inventory accuracy through stock counts, stock rotation, and accurate record keeping.
• Where required, accurately pick, pack, label, and prepare customer orders for dispatch.
• Undertaking additional warehouse and production duties as directed by the Team Leader or Manager.

About You

We’re seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic individual with experience in production and warehousing within the manufacturing and FMCG space. You’re attentive to detail, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are known for your reliability and “can-do” attitude. Strong communication, time management, and teamwork skills are essential, and you adapt quickly to change while upholding quality and safety standards. You’ll also hold a current, valid forklift licence with experience operating a reach truck.

This is a full‑time, permanent position, working 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 6:00am to 2:00pm, based at our Preston location.
