Opella is seeking a Production Team Leader to guide on‑shift teams in Brisbane, delivering safe, quality products and meeting daily and weekly production plans. You will foster a positive, capable and engaged team environment while ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.

You will mentor staff, analyse performance data, and drive improvements to enhance productivity and product quality across the operation.

• Foster open communication and collaboration across teams to enable knowledge sharing.

Main responsibilities:• Lead and support production teams to achieve daily and weekly production plans while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and compliance.• Conduct regular one-to-one conversations with team members to provide feedback, coaching and development support.• Investigate operational issues, identify root causes and implement effective corrective actions to prevent recurrence.• Monitor, analyse and report on performance data and trends to improve productivity, quality and operational outcomes.• Build team capability through effective training, development planning and compliance with training requirements.• Foster open and proactive communication across shifts, encouraging collaboration, engagement and knowledge sharing.• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and act quickly to resolve issues that may impact production performance, safety or quality.About you:• Experience leading teams in a manufacturing, production or operations environment, with a demonstrated ability to create positive team outcomes.• Strong problem-solving skills with experience investigating issues and implementing practical solutions.• Ability to analyse performance data, identify trends and use insights to improve results.• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and support team development.• Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, quality and continuous improvement.• Experience working in regulated manufacturing environments is advantageous.• Relevant qualifications in manufacturing, operations, engineering or a related field are beneficial but not essential.This is more than the next step in your career, it’s a chance to lead change and help reinvent self-care for the world.
